For the past few years The Urge have been entertaining
wedding guests the length and breath of Ireland and
indeed revellers of every type! They have built a
reputation based on quality and value for money, offering
a comprehensive and varied repertoire of music to
bring you from the ‘60’s right up to last
weeks charts. Unlike many Irish bands, The Urge always
have had the understanding of what people want to
party to, not to mention their attention to the entertainment
factor of their job in hand, and indeed this will
be so obvious as soon as you check out their performance.
Made up of four seasoned musicians, these guys are
clued into what they arrive to do and that’s
“getting the party started”. They bring
energy to your guests whatever the celebration or
occasion may be, making sure everybody wants to be
on the dance floor.
Since time began for The Urge, they quickly found
themselves being drawn towards the wedding industry,
with a constant flow of brides and grooms wanting
the type of entertainment these guys have to offer,
this has continued and grown stronger for a number
of years. It is fair to say at this stage, The Urge
have well and truly secured themselves as one of the
countries most successful and indeed busiest wedding
bands.
They have also entertained at the highest levels
of society and it has brought them to many interesting
places, from tiny islands off the coast of Ireland
right to the hub of the country, such as Croke Park
and the RTÉ studios, entertaining a host of
celebrities such as leading sports stars, even An
Taoiseach
